She thinks Scout is not lady like and she has bad manners. She doesn’t think he is teaching them what is important to her in life. It shows she is judgmental and only thinks about what she cares about.
What do you think about the way Atticus is raising his children? Give 1 ex. He is raising them we’ll because he is teaching them not to be prejudice.
What does Uncle Jack learn about his children from his encounter with Scout? He learns to be straightforward and not lie because kids can tell.
What does Atticus think real courage is? Do you agree or disagree? Why is it important to the children at this point? Knowing you are beat before you begin but beginning anyway. I agree. Atticus is taking on a case defending a black man that was accused of raping a white girl, which Atticus knows will be nearly impossible to convince people of.
Describe Mrs. Dubose (her character and medical condition). Using your definition of courage, do you consider her to be courageous? Why She is strong and judgmental but she is addicted to morphine. She is trying to break her addiction before she dies. She is courageous because she would rather suffer then die with a burden. It was important to her and she succeeded.
