How did Okonkwo feel about his return to the clan? He was eagerly awaiting it because he thought that he would make a sort of grand entrance and everyone would be amazed at how powerful he still was
What message did Okonkwo give to his sons and daughters after Nwoye left the family? He told them to forsake him while he was still alive, or else he would come to them in death and break their necks. He also made it clear that Nwoye was to be disowned.

How did many of the other villagers feel about these changes? They liked the trading store that the white men had set up because it brought money into Umuofia, and they started to think that the religion could have some substance to it.

About what was Okonkwo grieving? The clan because it was falling apart, and the men were turning soft like women.
Describe the conflict started by Enoch He publicly unmasked an egwugwu, and so the other egwugwus destroyed Enoch’s home, the church, and let Mr. Smith live as a favor to Mr. Brown

What event happened in the marketplace? Five court messengers came to stop the meeting. Okonkwo decapitated one of them.

What did Obierika tell the Commissioner? Obierika said that the Commissioner had driven Okonkwo to kill himself.
