Essay II By the end of Romeo and Juliet, Paris and Romeo, both of whom loved Juliet, are dead. Romeo and Paris have similar qualities and different qualities that would not make them that different of characters. Romeo and Paris both come from money. Romeo is most likely rich because they have servants and when Romeo and Juliet dies, the families plan to raise gold statues of them. Paris is also well connected politically, making him a good family contact for Capulet and his wife. Romeo is not a violent man. Romeo is not a violent man and Paris is not a violent man. Tybalt tries to provoke Romeo into fighting him but, Romeo won’t. Romeo and Paris are different because Romeo is son and heir of Montague and Lady Montague sworn enemy of Capulet. Paris is the suitor of Juliet most preferred by Capulet and good friend.
