1.1- What threat does the prince make to Lord Capulet and Lord Montague? They’ve fought, killed, and endangered in public 3 times anymore and death penalty is the next consequence.
1.1- What do Benvolio and Montague say when describing Romeos actions? Acting solum, sad, and depressed. Kept to hismelf most of the time (private). -Lovesick-

1.2- When capulet first responds what is he trying to tell Paris? She is too young and not ready to be a mother- both physically, emotinally and mentally.
1.2- What is Paris’ argument? That there are girls younger than she (Juliet) and are already married. “Younger than sge are happy mothers made”.

Something will begin there with a consequence that hasn’t but will happen. foreshadows his death. His state of mind is all over the place.
1.4- fate explain. “But he that has steerage of my course Direct my sail” He is correct but ignores it anyway- they take fate very seriously.
1.4- who or what is Queen Mab according to Mercutio? Queen Mab is the midewife of the fiaries. she brings dreams to people.
1.4- What does Mercutio say about dreams? How they are magical and stuff. Basically trying to cheer Romeo up.
1.4- What is Romeos mood at the end of the scene? That dreams are meerly nothing and Mercution should pay no attention to them. Hes annoyed and upset.
1.5- “… Verona Brags him To be virtous and well governed youth. I would not for wealth of all this town Here in my house do him disparagement” Lord Capulet telling Tybalt to calm down because Romeo is well mannered and no need to worry about him.
1.5- explain. “Patience perforce with willful choler meeting Makes my flesh tremble in their difference greeting I will withdraw; but this intrusion shall, Now seeming sweet, convert to bitter gall.” Tybalt will restrain himself being forced to, but it makes him even angrier.
1.5- explain. “If he be married, My grave is like to be my wedding bed” Predicts her own future (Juliet) unawearingly.
1.5- explain. “My only love sprunf from my only hate! Too early seen unknown, and known too late!” Juliet fell in love with Romeo before she even knew who he was. Once you fall in love you can’t fall back out- falls in love woth her only enemy.

1.5- How does Tybalt recognize Romeo? By Romeo’s voice- he talks to himself very often
1.5- When Tybalt is ready to seize Romeo and throw him out of the party, what does Capulet say to Tybalt? Not to because Romeo is well mannered- Tybalt would be going agaisnt what Lord Capulet wants and that again the death penalty is on the line.
