Rising Action | Romeo is in love with Juliet and she loves him. Tybalt sends Romeo a challenge to a duel. Paris still wants to marry Juliet but Juliet is already married to Romeo. Romeo and Juliet is doing everything in secret. |
Climax | The challenge from Tybalt results in the death of Mercutio and Tybalt. Romeo is to be exiled/banished (must leave Juliet). Juliet learns Romeo is banished; Tybalt is dead; and she has to marry Paris. |
