Why does Juliet defend Romeo’s actions? She says if Romeo wouldnt have killed Tybalt, Tybalt would have killed him It was an active defense it’s her new husband she feels like she needs to defend him
At the end of scene 2, what does Juliet ask the nurse to do? She asks the nurse to go find Romeo amd bring the ladder so he can climb up to juliets room
What is Romeo’s reaction when Friar Laurence tells him that Escalus has banished him? He says banishment is worse than die he doesnt want to be banished beacause he wants to be with juliet

How are Juliet’s beliefs about love and marriage different from her parents? her parents believe she should marry someone of high status. she believes she should marry her true love. It’s not about who she picks it’s about who they pick for her
When talking to her parents in this act, explain how some of Juliet’s lines are filled with double meanings. she says very vague things, tricking her parents into thinking shes sad about Tybalts death, but shes really sad over Romeo being banished. She wants her parents her parents to think she still on their side!!! She tries to say things to make her parents think she’s crying for Tybalt when really she’s crying for Romeo
