Why is Romeo so sad at the beginning of the play? *He is in love with someone that doesn’t love him back.*Benvolio and Mercutio say Romeo stays out all night. He has been seen crying at Dawn. He locks himself up in his room all day.* Benvolio gives Romeo advice: Forget her by looking at other beauties
Who is the young man who asks Capulet’s permission to marry Juliet? *Paris. *Capulet says that she is too young now but that he can marry Juliet in two years and if she agrees.*he says: a. “Younger than she are happy mothers made”
What two people tell Juliet that this young man will make a fine husband for her? Juliet’s mother and the nurse.
