Everything Othello does I will mention Cassio’s desires.(Desdemona) I’ll intermingle everything he does with Cassio’s suit.
I cannot understand why Cassio would look so guilty when seeing you.(Iago) Cassio my lord? No, sure, I cannot think it, that he would sneak away so guilty-like, seeing you coming.
I love you now but if I ever don’t love you there will be chaos.(Othello) But I do love thee and when I love thee not, chaos come again.
Iago will not tell me what he is thinking as if he has a thought so horrible he cannot tell me.(Othello) As if there were some monster in his thought too hideous to be shown!
Men should be what they are like. (Othello) Men should be what they seem.
A person’s name is the most important part of them.(Othello) Good name in man and woman…is the immediate jewel of their souls.
Beware of jealousy!(Iago) O beware my lord of jealousy! It is the green ey’d monster which doth mock the meat it feeds on.
