Act 1 scene 1 Claudio confesses his love of Hero to DonPedro and Don Pedro plans to woo hero in Claudio’s behalf.
Act 1 scene 2 Antonio mistakenly reports to Leonato that DonPedro wishes to marry Hero.
Act 1 scene 3 Conrad tells Don John to cheer up because Don Pedro has forgiven him.

Act 4 scene 5 In a jail cell Borachio+ Conrad a questioned by Dogberry. The sexton reveals that Hero is “dead”.
