Creeps in this petty pace from day to day. M 2
To the last syllable of recorded time. M 3
And all our yesterdays have lighted. M 4
Fools the way to dusty death. M 5
Out! Out! Brief Candle M 6
Life is but a walking shadow. M 7
A poor player who struts and frets his hour upon the stage. M 8
And is heard no more. M 9
It is a tale told by an idiot, full or sound, and fury. M 10
Signifying nothing. M 11
To be or not to be, that is the question. H 1
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer. H 2
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. H 3
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles. H 4
And by opposing end them? To die; to sleep. H 5
No more, and by a sleep to say we end. H 6
The heart ache and the thousand natural shocks H 7
That flesh is heir to, ’tis a consummation H 8
Devoutly to be wish’d, to die, to sleep. H 9
To sleep; perchance to dream; aye, there’s the rub. H 10
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come. H 11
