Why does Macbeth have Macduffs wife and son murdered? Macduff is not loyal to Macbeth
Why does Lady Macbeth’s son say “Liars and swearers are fools”? there are more liars than honest people, they are dumb for putting themselves in danger
Macbeth says “Angels are bright still, though the brightest fell. Though all things foul would wear the brows of grace Yet grace must still look so.” What does that mean? One cannot judge a book by its cover. Satan was once the brightest angles and not all people should be judged by his actions
Macduff says, “Oh Scotland, Scotland.” What does he mean? If he were to ever become king, he would be off way worse than Macbeth would be.
What news does Ross bring to Macduff? He tells Macduff that Macbeth has killed his whole family and Macduff than swears vengeance on Macbeth.
What do the doctor and gentlemen see Lady Macbeth doing? What do they decide to do? Sleepwalking and talking about the murders . They decide to not say anything and just have the gentlewomen watch her, There is irony in this scene because Lady Macbeth is the one who told Macbeth not to think about it too much or he will go mad but she is the one to actually do this.
