How is the planning of Banquo’s murder different from that of Duncan’s? Macbeth is in charge this time and seems more in control of himself and his emotions
According to macbeth, why does he himself not kill banquo? They have the same friends and he doesn’t want to make them mad
Why does Macbeth want Banquo and Fleance dead? Because the witches fortune could come true for Banquo (his sons to become kings) and Macbeth doesn’t want them to have power because it is a threat to Macbeth’s power (he doesn’t want rivals.)
Macbeth says “The worm that’s fled/ Hath nature that in time will venom breed, / No teeth for the present.” What does he mean? Fleance escaped, but will be trouble later

Why did Macduff go to England? He goes to request King Edward to form an alliance with Siward which are the Northumberlands
