HAMLET TEST: Soliloquies

“O that this too solid flesh would melt, thaw and resolve itself into a dew” 1st soliloquy. Occurs after Hamlet is in court of Claudius and Gertrude and then is asked not to return to his studies in Wittenberg.
O all you host of heaven! O earth! What else? 2nd soliloquy. Occurs right after Hamlet has spoken to the ghost, learning of the murder and charged with revenge.
Now I am alone. Oh what a rogue and peasant slave am I? 3rd soliloquy. Occurs right after Hamlet’s meeting with the actors and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern have left. Sets plan to test Claudius’s guilty by doing “Murder of Gonzago”
To be or not to be. That is the question. 4th soliloquy. This occurs right after the “nunnery” scene with Ophelia. Hamlet considers tons of major themes from the play including life v death, the supernatural (afterlife) etc
Now might I do it Pat 5th soliloquy. This occurs following the play scene and as Hamlet observes Claudius praying and considers killing him.
Tis now the very witching time of night 6th soliloquy. This occurs when Hamlet has been fetched by his mother and is about to go into her chamber, but waits a minute.
How all occasions do inform against me 7th soliloquy. This occurs right after Hamlet has spoken to Fortinbras on his quest to take a piece of useless land.
