Laertes thinks that Ophelia should have a better funeral service. What is the priest’s answer? Ophelia is lucky to be getting a nice a funeral as she is considering the “nature of her death” (means she killed herself which is a sin)
Why does Hamlet jump into Ophelia’s grave? Because he wants to show his sorrow is as great as Laertes.
What does the king say to Laertes to console (make him feel better) him after Laertes and Hamlet are separated? He tells him not to worry; he will soon have the appropriate time in place to kill Hamlet. One way or another, Hamlet will die.
What did Hamlet do to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern? Hamlet replaced (switched) the letter that called for his (Hamlet) execution (death) with letters calling for their (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern) execution.
What news does Osric bring Hamlet? Osric is the courtier sent by Claudius to invite Hamlet to participate in the duel with Laertes. He tells the wager (a bet) the king made on his behalf in a contest between Hamlet and Laertes.
What happens to the King, Hamlet, Laertes and the Queen? 1. The King was killed by Hamlet2. Hamlet was killed by Laertes’s sword3. Laertes was killed by poison on his own sword when Hamlet picked wrong sword in a fight.4. The Queen drinks out of cup meant for Hamlet and she died.

Hamlet “Let me see. Alas, poor York! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.”
Gertrude “I hoped thou shoulds’t have been my Hamlet’s wife. I thought thy bride-bed to have decked, street maid, and not have strewed thy grave.”
Hamlet “This is I, Hamlet, The Dane.”
Hamlet “I loved Ophelia. Forty-thousand brothers could not with all their quantity of love make up my sum. What wilt thou do for her?”
Hamlet “There’s a divinity that shapes our ends.”
Hamlet “But I am very sorry, good Horatio that to Laertes I forgot myself forby the image of my cause I see the portraiture of his, I’ll court his favors.”
Hamlet “If it be now, tis not to come, if it be not to come, it will be now. If it be not now, yet it will come-the readiness is all.”
Claudius “Set me the stoups of wine upon the table. If Hamlet give the first or second hit or quit in answer of the third exchange, let all the battlements their ordinances fire! The king shall drink to Hamlet’s better breath.”
Laertes “Why, as a woodcock to mine own spring, Osric. I am justly killed with mine own treachery.”
Gertrude “No, no the drink, the drink!- O my dear Hamlet! The drink, the drink! I am poisoned.”
Hamlet “O, I die, Horatio, the potent poison quite O’ ercrows my spirit.”
Horatio “Now cracks a noble heart- Goodnight, sweet prince, and flights of angles sing thee to thy vest!”
Ambassador “That Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead.”
Fortinbras “Let us haste to hear it, and call the noblest to the audiences. For me, with sorrow I embrace my fortune. I have some rights of memory in the Kingdom, which now claim my vantage doth invite me.”
