Hamlet Act 4 Scene 4

What effect does meeting Fortinbras’ captain have on Hamlet? It makes him think about why he hasn’t taken revenge yet. Everything he comes across makes him wonder why he hasn’t gotten the revenge yet. He is angry with himself for not acting against Claudius.
What does Hamlet’s soliloquy reveal about his present idea of himself? He doesn’t think that he is great enough and decides that all thoughts of his that aren’t violent are worthless. He thinks he is a coward for letting Claudius live and vows to get revenge.
