He notices Hamlet is depressed and tells him to stop mourning his father so much. He also tells Hamlet that he can’t go back to school in Europe because he is the next heir to the throne.
4)What hint do we get that Claudius may be under obligation to Polonius When Polonius son Laertes asks Claudius if he can return to Denmark, Claudius checks in with Polonius first, making sure he had his permission to go before saying yes.
5)What actual fact do we learn from Hamlets first soliloquy One can tell Hamlet is depressed and sometimes has suicide thoughts. We learn that his Father has been dead for 2 months and his mother remarried after 1 month.
